Walk, eat, drink and be grateful.

Last weekend was truly beautiful weather. The sun was shining, the air was fresh, nature was showing off its colours.  Just a quick look through the window and a walk around the neighbourhood made me feel happy and alive. The spring was in the air. Looking at how intensely green the lawn was, I thought about Psalm 23. Way too often this psalm is being connected only with people’s funerals and thought about being with God forever in heaven and lacking nothing. But I believe this psalm is also very relevant to our earthly human experiences. When we trust God, He reassures us. This psalm tells us that God is there with us even if we are going through the toughest and hardest moments in our lives. As I was reading it, I thought about the table of abundant yummy food which God also brings before us. The one featured on the photo was served on a special celebration in our community sometime ago. Today, as you walk, eat, drink – be grateful. God cares and expresses His love to you not only to meet  all your needs.
